Insurance Physical Auditor - Denver, CO (On-Site/Field)

Lowry and Associates, a ReSource Pro company, is seeking experienced Insurance Physical Auditor to conduct comprehensive audits of Workers’ Compensation and General Liability policies for leading insurance carriers.
Your role:
As a Physical Auditor, you will collect and analyze data from an insured party's place of business to provide insurance carriers with accurate information for determining the appropriate premium base for their policy. Your responsibilities will include digitally scheduling and managing audit documentation, conducting remote and in-person interviews to gather critical information, and reviewing financial records to produce comprehensive audit reports for insurance carriers.
In this role you will:
- Manage personal workload and inventory to ensure efficient and timely completion of audits
- Demonstrate flexibility to adjust to new situations and changing priorities
- Ensure return rates and turnaround time of audits are met
What you need to be successful:
- Registered LLC and the ability to provide invoices. This is a contractor position, and an LLC ensures compliance with our company policies and tax regulations.
- Previous experience conducting workers compensation or general liability audits
- Demonstrated ability to perform quality customer service
- Bookkeeping and/or Accounting experience
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of WCIRB, NCCI and ISO guidelines for classification of businesses and employees so as to meet quality standards set forth by California state and the client
- Previous experience with Nexus or Future Audit software is desired, but not required
- General accounting skills
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated and self-disciplined
- Advanced computer skills (Excel, Word and Outlook)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to conduct business professionally and positively with third party business owners
- Ability to take feedback positively and make corrections and changes to improve
Your Compensation:
Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry and are one part of the total compensation package that also includes annual bonus eligibility, benefits, and other opportunities at ReSource Pro. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, geography, and balancing internal equity relative to other ReSource Pro employees. This is a remote position and the salary range for most locations for this role is $18.81- $32 per audit
