This role...

The Director, Data Services will establish and grow ReSource Pro's Data Services practice, with accountability for financial performance and client success. This role combines market-facing leadership, solution design, and operational oversight to deliver high-value data services. As a highly client-facing leader, the Director,Data Services is responsible for pre-sales engagement, delivery excellence, and building scalable frameworks for the insurance industry. The role requires strong people leadership skills to enable future team growth, even though it will initially begin without direct reports.

In this role you will...

  • Practice Leadership & P&L Ownership: Define and evolve the Data Services strategy and offerings while managing the practice's budget, revenue, and profitability.
  • Market Facing Leadership: Serve as a market-facing leader, engaging with clients in pre-sales and solution design to build long-term relationships and a robust sales pipeline.
  • Operational Oversight & Delivery Excellence: Oversee project delivery, manage client expectations, and ensure solutions meet high-quality standards. You will also build repeatable frameworks and methodologies to scale data solutions.
  • People Leadership: While you will begin without direct reports, you will be responsible for building a team and fostering an inclusive environment that values diverse perspectives.

To be successful, you will need...

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field 
  • PMP/SAFe, CPCU/AINS, CDMP, cloud provider certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) Preferred
  • 10+ years in Data Management, Data Services, or Technology Consulting. 
  • Proven track record of P&L ownership and business growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and scale practices or service lines. 
  • Client-facing leadership experience, including pre-sales and delivery oversight. 
  • Strong background in Data Migration, ETL/iPaaS, Data Warehousing, Analytics, and Governance. 
  • Deep understanding of the P&C insurance industry and core systems. 
  • Strong people leadership potential, with ability to lead without direct reports and build future teams. 

Your Compensation…

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of the total compensation package that also includes annual bonus eligibility, benefits, and other opportunities at ReSource Pro. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, geography, and balancing internal equity relative to other ReSource Pro employees. This is a remote position and the salary range for most locations for this role is $116,520-197,520 annually. The salary range may vary based on the specific geographic location in which the candidate resides.
