Sr. Analyst, Payroll

ReSource Pro is looking for a Sr. Payroll Analyst to own the payroll process for all entities managed by the US Talent team, including preparation, new client setup, payroll adjustments, and addressing any payroll-related inquiries. The Sr. Payroll Analyst will be the lead for resolving tax issues and ensuring seamless integration between systems including ADP and Workday.
This is a remote position that can be based anywhere in the United States.
After 3 months you will...
- Manage payroll processes and functions including preparation, running payroll cycles, withholding taxes and/or any other deductions, tax payments, maintain accurate payroll records, complete new client code setup, and any other payroll adjustments
- Serve as the SME on payroll, leading the team on compliance and law specific/DOL updates, including any changes and best practices
- Lead payroll projects and contribute to cross functional initiatives, including serving as the SME for payroll and HRIS for M&A activities
- Process leave payments (PTO, FMLA, etc.), wage garnishments, and incentive/bonus payments as needed
- Initiate and complete corrections to timekeeping and PTO systems
- Support managers through the employee termination process regarding payroll and any remaining related items
- Troubleshoot and resolve multi-state tax issues, ensuring compliance in all jurisdictions
- Work alongside payroll vendor and HRIS to verify valid tax accounts in jurisdictions
- Complete new employee setup ensuring the correct tax statuses for their home and work location, and update statuses when employees are rehired or transferred
- Independently lead the interface between payroll vendor and HRIS
- Collect, analyze, and prepare payroll reports and related documentation. Research, analyze, and audit data to detect and correct errors or omissions
- Train junior staff on payroll processes, benefit enrollments, and onboarding/offboarding procedures
To be successful, you will need...
- Bachelor's degree
- 5-7 years' experience of related human resources or payroll administration
- Demonstrated knowledge of payroll and tax laws and regulations, including federal and state tax laws, wage and hour laws, and employee benefits laws
- Experience using payroll software and other technology tools, including ADP and Workday
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Robust project management skills
- Effective communication skills
- Meticulous attention-to-detail

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of the total compensation package that also includes annual bonus eligibility, benefits, and other opportunities at ReSource Pro. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, geography, and balancing internal equity relative to other ReSource Pro employees. This is a remote position and the salary range for most locations for this role is $43,342 - $73,574 annually. The salary range may vary based on the specific geographic location in which the candidate resides.
