Analyst, Compensation

ReSource Pro is looking for a Compensation Analyst to perform administrative tasks related to compensation, including lower-level leveling, promotional job description writing, and compliance. The Compensation Analyst will support variable compensation plans, process pay transparency requests, and ensure adherence to Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) regulations.
This is a remote position that can be based anywhere in the United States.
After 3 months you will...
- Complete routine Talent Acquisition compensation requests and pay transparency inquiries, ensuring timely responses and escalate complex cases when necessary
- Conduct market pricing, review internal equity, and recommend compensation range placement
- Partner with offshore team to update the workbook on a quarterly basis
- Support and complete evaluation of lower-level positions
- Participate in job description updates by partnering with other Talent team members, including Talent Acquisition, HRBP, and the position supervisor
- Conduct FLSA and EEOC reviews when going through the levelling process
- Assist in reviewing and evaluating job descriptions to determine appropriate classification within our job architecture; this involves analyzing job content, responsibilities, and qualifications to ensure alignment with internal processes
- Manage the administrative side of ReSource Pro's variable compensation plans, including collaborating with the offshore team for data collection and assisting with the review of the monthly payout transition process
- Audit compensation data integrity within Workday, ensuring all records are up-to-date and accurate
- Support Talent initiatives and projects in the area of compensation, budgeting, and other related areas
- Participate in external compensation surveys by providing necessary data and ensure survey results are accurately reflected in company practices; analyze survey results
To be successful, you will need...
- 1-3 years' HR experience focusing on compensation
- 1-2 years' experience working in Excel, including complex formulas including Macros, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP and demonstrated experience building and managing excel workbooks that include these formulas and an HRIS
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Business Acumen and knowledge of compensation market trends, benchmarking, and competitive analysis
- Project management skills
- Financial acumen
Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of the total compensation package that also includes annual bonus eligibility, benefits, and other opportunities at ReSource Pro. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, geography, and balancing internal equity relative to other ReSource Pro employees. This is a remote position and the salary range for most locations for this role is $12.73 - $26.75 per hour. The salary range may vary based on the specific geographic location in which the candidate resides.
